Kufuor, Akufo-Addo, Joyce Aryee and others form part of Bawumia’s campaign advisory committee
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has unveiled Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team ahead of the December 7 polls.
NPP’s General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, introduced the team during a media briefing on Monday, February 19.
Mr Frimpong highlighted the team’s role in supporting Dr Bawumia’s quest for political power in the upcoming polls.
Dr Bawumia will lead the Campaign Coordinating Committee, while the vice chair position remains vacant pending the announcement of the party’s running mate.
The campaign advisory committee includes former President John Agyekum Kufuor, President Nana Akufo-Addo, all members of the National Council of Elders, Frederick Worsemao Blay, Madam Elizabeth Ohene, Rev Joyce Aryee and Akosua Frema Osei-Opare.
The operations team, is led by the General Secretary and Henry Nana Boakye.
Dan Botwe will serve as the campaign strategist, supported by vice chairpersons Fred Oware and Nana Akomea.
Campaign Manager Frederick Opare-Ansah will oversee operations, with Dr Antoinette Tsiboe-Darkoone handling research and administration, O.B Amoah focusing on parliamentary campaign, and Ibrahim Anyars managing the presidential campaign.
Dr Gideon Boako will act as the spokesperson, Dennis Miracles Aboagye as director of Campaign Communication, and Adomako Baafi and Akbar Khomeini as deputies.
Peter Mac Manu will head the Electoral Affairs Committee, while Edward Boateng will lead diplomatic affairs.
