Dreams FC coach Karim Zito reveals why he changed his system against Academica do Lobito
Dreams FC coach Karim Zito orchestrated a masterclass in tactical adaptation during yesterday’s CAF Confederations Cup clash against Angolan powerhouse Academica do Lobito.
In a post-match interview, Coach Zito disclosed that the decision to change his team’s system was a calculated response to the strengths and weaknesses identified in Academica do Lobito’s gameplay.
The Still Believe lads continue to make waves in their first appearance in the CAF Confederation Cup, as they delivered an exceptional performance at the Baba Yara Stadium, thumping Angolan side Academica do Lobito 4-0 in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Agyenim Boateng initiated the scoring in the 35th minute before they extended their advantage through an own goal.
Teenage prodigy Abdul Aziz Issah stole the show with a remarkable goal from midfield before setting up his outfit fourth goal.
“I am a student of multisystem so don’t forget I change at any time and get what I wanted so that was why I changed the game into this system because I wanted to control the game,” he said after the game.
“I wanted to make sure I get three goals or any goal I get the win that was why changed the system to 3 back,” he added.
With this resounding triumph, Dreams FC have amassed nine points, placing them atop Group A.
