Award-winning Ghanaian artiste Kofi Kinaata has for the second time cancelled his annual ‘Made In Taadi’ concert, which brings together over 1,000 revellers.

The organizers revealed in a statement that the unfortunate cancellation of the event was a result of the inability to spot a suitable venue that would ensure the safety of attendees, as Jubilee Park and Takoradi Technical University Park were inaccessible.

“Considering the nature of ‘Made In Taadi’, all potential venues for this year’s concert have been advised against, citing concerns that could affect the safety and quality of the experience for our attendees. We want to assure our fans that management is actively working on solutions to overcome this setback in the future”, the organizers said in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, Nana Kwesi Coomson on December 6, 2023.

It would be recalled that the ‘Made In Taadi’ concert was also called off in 2022 due to measures management claimed were beyond their control.

Meanwhile, the Taadi-celebrated artiste is on the verge of releasing a new song in the coming days.

“On the brighter side, we are thrilled to announce that Kofi Kinaata will be releasing a new song in a few days. Also, despite the unfortunate cancellation of the concert, fans will still have the opportunity to experience his electrifying performances during the Christmas season, as he has been billed to perform at various events across Ghana during the festive season,” the statement further added.

The management expresses gratitude for the unwavering support and encourages fans to explore other exciting events in Sekondi-Takoradi during the festive period.
