Bawumia Given A Traditional Title By Manhyia

The cradle of the Ashantis, Manhyia, has conferred a traditional title on the Vice President, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. He would be called Oheneba Kwaku Agyemang Prempeh Bawumia.

Dr Bawumia proved impressive with his speech in one of his rare communications in akan. He spoke impeccable twi with proverbs at the occasion where he paid homage to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II who sat in state in Kumasi for the last “Akwasidae” of the year.

Asantehene described Dr Bawumia as his son hence the Oheneba title given to him.
