Nsoatreman FC coach Maxwell Konadu bemoans fatigue in team
Nsoatreman FC coach Maxwell Konadu says his players are getting exhausted after playing three games in a space of one week in the Ghana Premier League schedules.
The Nsoatre-based club has been impressive in the Ghanaian top flight so far, winning six, drawing one and losing three games after 10 games into the campaign.
With 19 points, Nsoatreman FC are second in the Ghana Premier League standings, two points behind leaders Aduana Stars.
Speaking after his side’s 2-0 win over RTU, Konadu, who joined Nsoatreman FC before the start of the new season asserted his players are getting exhausted after playing three games in a week.
“RTU did their best even though they went a man down. Having gone down to ten men, we were hoping to get the second goal and eventually, the second goal came and that calmed all of us down and we managed the game until the end”
“I think fatigue has started setting in my team. Playing three matches in a week has had some effect on the players. We will manage the week well and make sure we give everybody the necessary rest they need before we regroup again” he said.
Nsoatreman FC are away to Sunyani for their Ghana Premier League matchday 11 clash against Bofoakwa Tano.
