“I’m attracted to corporate ladies”-Shatta Wale
Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale says he is sexually attracted to ladies in the corporate environment.
The ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker in an interview monitored by The Ghana Report said he likes intellectuals.
“Girls are very important. I don’t lie to girls. That’s why girls like me. If I like you, I tell you I like you but I don’t want us to be in a relationship. We can be friends but if it (sex) happens, it happens. I have love for classy girls, those who look so corporate. I like corporate girls… such as the lawyers and doctors. I’m not a womanizer but I like mingling with women. I like women around me. I’m a King so I need to have queens around me. In the bible, King Solomon had queens, so if I have girls around me, it doesn’t mean I sleep with all of them…” the Dancehall sensation said.
Reacting to the widely held perception that he smokes marijuana , the musician disclosed that he doesn’t smoke “wee”.
“I don’t smoke weed. I don’t drink too much alcohol too,” he said.
He further lamented how difficult it has become for most Ghanaian musicians to produce hit songs; a situation he says is due to their complacency.
“I’m not confident about Ghana’s music industry because there’s a lot of mess we need to clear up… we’ve sold our music rights to Nigerians because music was so special to us in Ghana. Nigerians used to come to Ghana to listen to us. But now, God wants to teach us a lesson. God wants to tell us that the talent I gave you that you didn’t cherish, I’ll show you which people can use it and cherish it better. And that’s why we’re seeing the likes of Wizkid and Davido and we think they are so super. They are not. They have only taken the music as serious business”, Shatta Wale added.
