Teenager Allegedly Brutalised By Fire Officers Over GH₵30
Fire Service personnel have reportedly brutalized a 17-year-old boy, identified as Kwabena Amos, for selling maize belonging to his father for GH₵30 and using the money to buy footwear.
Information gathered indicates that Amos is battling for his life at Salamkrom near Donkro Nkwanta in the Nkoranza South Municipality of the Bono East region.
The incident is reported to have happened about two weeks ago.
Amos’ father allegedly reported the incident to some people in the area who were identified as fire officers, who subjected Amos to severe beatings.
According to a report on Adom News monitored by The Ghana Report, the victim sustained deep wounds on his back and other parts of his body. As punishment, his father refused to take him to the hospital for medical care.
