Meat Meal: Berner Platte Of Switzerland
INGREDIENTS
2 pounds sauerkraut
2 tablespoons bacon or pork fat.
2 medium onions, chopped.
8 peppercorns.
10 juniper berries.
Salt, and pepper to taste.
Two and a half cups of dry white wine.
Half pound bacon in one piece.
6 smoked pork chops.
1 pound pork sausage links, cooked and drained.
6 Bratwurst or Knockwurst, braised and drained.
6 thick slices of cooked ham.
3 cups of cooked and drained hot green beans.
3 tablespoons butter.
1 garlic clove, minced.
Pepper to taste.
6 medium potatoes, boiled, drained, and peeled.
