Prof Adei sworn in as new board chair of Ghana Revenue Authority
Professor Stephen Adei has been sworn in as the new board Chair for the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
Prof. Adei was sworn in together with Eugene Asante Ofosuhene who is also expected to serve on the board of the GRA. The appointment of the two is to take effect in October.
A statement from the Ministry says the move is to help in “achieving GRA’s objective of revenue mobilisation in the era of Ghana beyond aid”.
Meanwhile Commissioner General of the Authority, Emmanuel Kofi Nti is set to retire from his post.
Mr. Kofi Nti’s retirement, according to the statement by the Finance Ministry is to take effect on October 1, 2019.
