C/R: Woman, 39, stabs co-tenant in revenge fight at Awutu Bereku

A 20-year-old woman, Mariama Sulley, has been stabbed multiple times by her co-tenant in a revenge fight at Awutu Bereku in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region.

The suspect is said to have threatened to attack the victim after she fought with the suspect’s friend some months ago.

Last month, the suspect attacked the victim while she was preparing Banku in the same compound house and the matter was settled at Awutu Bereku Police station.

On Saturday July 29, 2023, the victim was brushing her teeth when the suspect attacked her with sharp knife and stab her multiple times.

She was rushed to the St. Gregory Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the Awutu Bereku District Police Command is on a manhunt for the 30-year-old suspect named Philomina.
