I don’t understand why CID boss is still at post – Jessica Opare Saforo
Radio and TV personality Jessica Opare Saforo has expressed shock as to why CID boss, COP Maame Tiwaa Addo Dankwa is still at post.
Her frustration appears to be a reflection of the desire of several Ghanaians who want the CID boss sacked over her handling of the case involving four Takoradi who went missing more than a year ago and were only announced dead this week.
In a tweet, Ms. Saforo said, “this is just heart breaking. For the life of me i simply cannot fathom how the CID Boss is still at post!”

BACKGROUND
The CID Boss in a press conference in March 2019 assured the country that the police had credible information about the location of the kidnapped girls, adding that they were safe and receiving medical treatment.
Later in August, the police service disclosed that some human remains had been found in a cesspit tank in the vicinity of the lead suspect which is believed to be that of the girls.
A DNA test was conducted and on Monday 17th September 2019, the Inspector General of Police confirmed those remains were that of the kidnapped girls.
The announcement of the death of the girls ignited an outrage on social media demanding the immediate dismissal of the CID Boss for deceiving the public with the hashtag #TiwaaMustGo.
