There is a reported case of car theft in Kumasi, the Ashanti régional capital of Ghana. This specific incident does highlight the presence of car snatching syndicates in the country, thus the need for motorists to beware.
A Honda CR-V sport 4-wheeler, WT 2525-23 on the number plate had been driven away by the time the owner returned from a short turnaround.
This happened on 22 July 2023 precisely at the Justmoh Construction car park at Adum Nsuase.- Kumasi.
The case has been reported to the police.
The stolen vehicle belongs to the wife of the complainant in the case. The owners are appealing to the general public to volunteer information that may help trace the missing vehicle.
