[VIDEO] KKD’s Gorgeous Gay son leads LGBTQ+ protest
Kwaku Darkwah Kyei-Darkwah, the son of popular Ghanaian broadcaster Kwasi Kyei-Darkwah (KKD), was the leader of a major LGBTQ+ demonstration in London.
England and other European countries have been inundated by a series of protests by the LGBTQ+ community to assert their rights.
Scores of pro-LGBTQ+ members and activists stormed the streets of London recently with KKD’s son as the leader of the pack.
Kwaku Darkwah Kyei-Darkwah, a sales executive and stylist for some major fashion brands, came out publicly in November 2017 to disclose his sexual orientation in a comprehensive article revealing that he had been gay since primary school.
This time, he is vocal on the streets, making every effort to make the world recognise LGBTQ+ members.
In a short video, he was captured wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt unbuttoned to show his pink bra.
It was complemented by a pair of jeans trousers and a lady’s bag hanging across his shoulder.
With a megaphone, he yelled to demand freedom and end criticism against the LGBTQ+ community, as others responded with chants in unison.
“We are walking because we know we are fine. We are walking because we know we are divine. We are walking because we have rights. We are walking because we know that we are building, and we are not going to stop,” he screamed.
“What you are seeing today is going to continue happening. We will continue walking. We will continue marching. We will continue fighting. We will be on your airwaves. We will be on your TV screens. We are not going anywhere,” he stressed.
The issue of LGBTQ+ is a sensitive topic, with Ghana’s parliament eagerly considering a bill to clamp down on such activities.
Information gathered by The Ghana Report suggests that the family in Ghana are not enthused about the turn of events involving their “brilliant son”.
Kyei’ is domiciled in the UK with liberal laws for LGBTQ+ activities.

Even though his father has not commented on the recent video, KKD supported his son when he came out public in 2017.
KKD went through a bitter divorce and relocated to Ghana while his children lived most of their lives in the UK.
In a post that was later deleted, he stated:
“I have been notified of the eagerly re-published article on my dearly beloved son Darkwah Kyei-Darkwah’s speaking up on his acceptance of his sexuality.
His words were candid and courageous.
‘The first step to being happy is, to be honest and embrace who you are in its totality.’ -Anon.
His statement of his conviction and comfort with himself as a young man is a matter of an individual’s sexuality.
Come joy or pain, sunshine or rain, success or failure. I will always love my son Darkwah Kyei-Darkwah and my daughter Ohemaa Asokwa Kyei-Darkwah.
My love, care and devotion to my children are non-negotiable”.
