The deputy minister picked up his nomination form on Friday, July 15, at the party office in the constituency in the company of some party executives.
He assured the constituents that his goal is to transform the community and empower the people.
Mr Okraku-Mantey promised to attract businesses to the area and improve the livelihood of residents.
Mr Okraku-Mantey will come up against former MP of the area, Samuel Ayeh-Paye, for the parliamentary primary if both successfully file and are approved by the party.
