Stonebwoy Receives Boomplay’s Golden Club Plaque
Stonebwoy has been awarded a Golden Club plaque by Africa’s premier music streaming and download platform, Boomplay.

Boomplay has recognized Stonebwoy’s exceptional talent and the immense popularity of his music, which has resonated with fans across the continent and beyond.
The release of his ‘5th Dimension’ album has chalked up some success for the reigning VGMA Dancehall/Reggae King.
The album found its way into the Billboard Reggae Album Chart at No. 8 a few weeks after its release.
The ‘5th Dimension’ album contains 17 tracks. It features Ghanaian and international artistes like British rapper Stormzy, Grammy award-winner and African singer Angelique Kidjo, Iconic Nigerian Afrobeats singer Davido, South African DJ Maphorisa, and Jamaican reggae rapper Shaggy, among others.
In receiving the plaque, Stonebwoy expressed his gratitude to his fans and to Boomplay for their support. He said, “I am extremely grateful to my fans for playing a huge part in my story and to Boomplay for being an enabler of this music space so that artistes can realize their dreams.”
Boomplay General Manager Elizabeth Ntiamoah-Quarshie said, “On the occasion where we celebrate Stonebwoy’s Golden Club feat, I must say we are proud of his accomplishments because as much as we are always part of the success stories of artists, Stonebwoy is part of our success story here in Ghana”.

He is a three-time Most Streamed Ghanaian Artist on Boomplay, and he has won numerous awards, including seven awards at the 2021 Boomplay Awards.
Stonebwoy is currently on a North American tour, and he is set to release his next album later this year.
