Ghanaian dancehall artiste Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy, has officially joined the prestigious Boomplay Golden Club, surpassing an impressive milestone of over 100 million streams on the music streaming and download platform.

The Boomplay Golden Club is an exclusive club reserved for artistes who have achieved exceptional streaming numbers on the platform.

Stonebwoy’s entry into this exclusive club places him among the ranks of other African music icons, including Nigeria’s Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Fireboy DML, Joeboy, and Omah Lay, as well as Tanzania’s Diamond Platinumz and Rayvanny, who have also crossed the 100 million stream mark.

This success comes after the award-winning artiste became the first Ghanaian to reach 100 million streams on Audiomack. His distinct sound, characterized by compelling rhythms, soul-stirring lyrics, and powerful vocals, has propelled him to global stardom.

The ‘Kpo K3K3’ hitmaker shared this achievement on his social media handles.

Boomplay has recognized Stonebwoy’s exceptional talent and the immense popularity of his music, which has resonated with fans across the continent and beyond.

The release of his ‘5th Dimension’ album has chalked some success for the reigning VGMA Dancehall/Reggae King.

The album found its way into the Billboard Reggae Album Chart at No. 8 a few weeks after its release.

The ‘5th Dimension’ album contains 17 tracks. It features Ghanaian and international artistes like British rapper Stormzy, Grammy award-winner and African singer Angelique Kidjo, Iconic Nigerian Afrobeats singer Davido, South African DJ Maphorisa, and Jamaican reggae rapper Shaggy, among others.
