Assin North By-Election: Fake Security Officer Arrested Hours After Military Imposter Arrest

Another person has been picked up for impersonating a security officer at the ongoing Assin North by-election in the Central Region.

This development comes just hours after a military imposter was arrested at a polling station in Assin Bereku earlier today, Tuesday, June 27.

According to reports, the suspect was discovered wearing a shirt that falsely identified him as a community protection assistant.

However, upon further inquiry, his fraudulent intentions became evident, leading to his immediate arrest by the Assin Bereku Police command.

The suspect is currently in police custody, awaiting additional investigation and legal proceedings.
