Man, 47 Inflicts Cutlass Wounds On 63-Year-Old Friend Over Roofing Sheet

The Awutu Breku District Police Command has arrested 47-year-old Nicholas Cudjoe for allegedly inflicting cutlass wounds on his 63-year-old friend, Efo Kokuvi over a roofing sheet.

Reports indicate that the suspect, Nicholas gave some roofing sheets to his friend Efo to keep on his behalf after which the suspect came for them without Efo’s knowledge.

Efo in search of the roofing sheets was allegedly told his friend, Nicholas had come for the items after which Efo confronted Nicholas which led to a heated argument.

Not long after the misunderstanding between the two parties, Nicholas on Monday evening sneaked into Efo’s room at Kwashie-Amabo in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region where he inflicted some cutlass wounds on him.

The victim, Efo Kokuvi was then rushed to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.

The suspect, Nicholas is still in police custody as investigation on the matter continues by the Awutu Breku District Police.
