‘Desperate situations require desperate measures’ – Oppong-Boanuh
The acting Inspector General of Police, James Oppong-Boanuh, has said that the police will change its operational procedure following the killing of five of its officers in the past month alone.
According to him, the police will not allow themselves to be intimidated and controlled by criminals.
Speaking during a short visit to the families of the two slain officers, the acting IGP stressed that the police will smoke out all individuals involved in the attack.
“Wherever they are, we will smoke them out and we must smoke them out. Desperate situations require desperate measures, we will rethink our strategy,” the IGP reiterated.
