NPP heading for opposition if they don’t know its Alan’s time – Tadi Clergy
The Clergy in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis has admonished the New Patriotic Party(NPP) not to make the mistake of by-passing the Former Minister for Trades and Industry, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen as their flagbearer for the 2024 elections.
The Clergy making this profound and emphatic statement on Friday the 21st of April 2023, said as for them they can only pray for God’s guidance but the NPP as a party must note that heaven helps those who helps themselves.
They were of the view that if the party does not know that it is the time of Alan to lead the NPP as the flagbearer if indeed the party wants to retain power, then they must see opposition as being very close to party.
This is about the ninth time the Clergy around the country have warned the NPP not to make the mistake of electing any other candidate apart from Mr. Kyerematen.
Meanwhile Mr. Kyerematen brought the Metropolis to a standstill when he took his tour to the regional capital. Polling station executives of the party minced no words when they asked him not to waste his breath convincing them as it will be near injustice should they allow Mr. Kyerematen to tell his story and not they as the grassroots doing that on his behalf. They assured him of an emphatic victory in the region come 4th of November, 2023.
The NPP has slated November 4, 2023, as the date for the flagbearership primaries and it is expected that Mr. Kyerematen will not only win but win convincingly to take the battle to the NDC.
