NPP Urges Ghanaians to Embrace Oneness And Selflessness During Eid Celebrations
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged Ghanaians to embrace oneness and selflessness during Eid celebrations.
The party made the call as Muslims in Ghana and across the globe complete one month of fasting in the holy month of Ramadan, which culminates with the observance of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In a statement released by the party’s General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the NPP congratulated all Muslims in Ghana and across the world on the successful completion of one month of fasting and supplication to Almighty Allah.
Mr Frimpong highlighted the culture of alms-giving, acceleration of all forms of good deeds, and the observance of special congregational prayers.
He called on all Ghanaians, regardless of faith, to be guided at all times by the spirit of service, oneness, selflessness, and sacrifice in their pursuit of growth and development.
He emphasized the importance of using the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr to pray for Ghana’s leaders, government, and the nation, to overcome all the ills plaguing the society, including the current socio-economic challenges, in order to put the country on the path of sustained growth and prosperity.
For the NPP, the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr is an opportunity to renew their commitment to building a better Ghana, where all citizens can live in peace, prosperity, and harmony.
