Ghanaian actor Fred Nuamah has disclosed that he has successfully completed the filing of his nomination ahead of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) parliamentary primaries.
The aspiring Parliamentary candidate had earlier in a press release on March 22, stated that efforts to file his electronic nomination had proved futile and had asked for help to solve the issue.
Fred had claimed in his statement that his inability to upload his nomination on the party’s platform electronically is a deliberate attempt on the part of some individuals in the party to prevent him from successfully filing his nomination.
However, in a fresh post on Instagram, the businessman announced that he had been able to successfully file the nomination.
“I’ve successfully filed my nomination. Thank u Ayawaso West Wuogon for the endorsement. I am also grateful to the party executives for resolving the challenges I encountered. #toGodbetheglory,” he captioned alongside a photo of him smiling in a white shirt.
The NDC officially will close nominations for both Presidential and parliamentary contests today.
The party says the exercise has been peaceful.
