Reduce the number of ministers to save our economy – Kojo Bonsu
A flagbearer aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kojo Bonsu, has joined the many calling for the government to reduce the current size of its ministers.
Speaking in an interview on Monday, the presidential hopeful expressed dissatisfaction with the number of ministers in the current Akufo-Addo regime.
According to him, the present number, which is about 106 should be reduced to about 60 to 65 ministers.
He said this action will help in efforts to restore the economy; adding that if he himself were elected into office, that would be an approach he will consider in restoring the economy.
Meanwhile, Kojo Bonsu has stressed the need for the country to prioritize five key issues in its quest to develop.
