Great Olympics Sack Yaw Preko As Head Coach
Ghana Premier League side, Accra Great Olympics has parted ways with the head coach, Yaw Preko after five months, following a poor run of results.
The 41-year-old departs the club after their 2-1 defeat to newcomers Nsoatreman FC on Sunday, leaving them in 11th place on the league log with 23 points.
Yaw Preko took over from Annor Walker in September last year and supervised 6 wins, 5 draws, and 6 losses, during his stay at the club.
Former Ghana international Isaac Armah and ex-Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Kingson have been given temporary charge of the team.
Great Olympics will begin the second round of the BetPawa Premier league against Bechem United on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
