2020 polls: I will win Odododiodio seat hands down – Nii Lante

Former Minister of Youth and Sports and Member of Parliament for Odododiodio Constituency, Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye should start writing his handing over notes since his days in parliament are drawing to an end, an NPP parliamentary hopeful has said.

According to Nii Lante Bannerman, he is ready to clinch the Odododiodio seat for the governing New Patriotic Party in the 2020 polls.

Submitting his nomination forms on Saturday, Nii Lante Bannerman said his renewed confidence in the potential to covet the seat for the NPP stems from the rather ‘attractive’ nature of the party in the constituency in recent time.

“After the 2016 elections, we have been able to nurture this constituency to make it viable and very attractive. This has happened because we have an executive that is unified, we are in a constituency that is basically difficult for the NPP to win this seat; you need to be able to win those on the other side to the party and like I said through the hard work of the executives and myself, including the Lord Mayor of Accra, Mohammed Adjei Sowah and Lord Commey we have made the party very viable and attractive in the constituency, and I can assure, the NDC are living in a state of denial in the constituency and that’s one thing that gives me confidence,” he noted.
