Bawumia commends Tullow Ghana

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has commended Tullow Ghana Limited for the lead role it was playing on the Jubilee and TEN oil fields and for its continued investment and expansion of operations in Ghana.

The Vice President said the government recognises Tullow’s contribution to the economic development.

Vice President gave the commendation during a courtesy call on him by two board members of Tullow at the Jubilee House.

Dr Bawumia said the government would be keenly looking forward to the realisation of Tullow’s investment decisions on ongoing projects including the execution of post-foundation commercial gas agreements, exploration interests and other projects being considered by the company and its partners in the country.

The two Board Members, Martin Greenslade and Mitchell Ingram were in Ghana for a four-day working visit on the back of the group’s renewed focus to prioritise investments in its producing assets.
