We won’t give up – Red-hot Ghanaian forward Abdul-Aziz Yakubu after Rio Ave’s defeat to Benfica

In-form Ghanaian forward Abdul-Aziz Yakubu has reacted to Rio Ave’s defeat to Benfica in the Portuguese top-flight.

The 23-year-old started and lasted 75 minutes as his side suffered a 4-2 defeat against the Portuguese giants at the Estadio da Luz on Saturday.

The forward provided an assist despite his sides defeat to the log leaders this season.

In a post sighted by Footballghana.com, the enterprising striker said the side will build from the defeat against Benfica in subsequent matches.

“Keep knocking, it’s worth the try sometimes and we won’t give up”, he tweeted.
