My mother is alive – Rawlings dispels rumour

The office of former President Jerry John Rawlings has dispelled rumours that his mother has passed away.

“Madam Agbotui is alive, hale and hearty.

“Members of the public should please disregard the reports,” the office said in a short release.

Madam Agbotui will turn 100 years later this year.

The office of former President Jerry John Rawlings has taken note of an unfortunate rumour making the rounds about Madam Victoria Agbotui, mother of the former President.

 Madam Agbotui is alive, hale and hearty.

 Members of the public should please disregard the reports.
