Akufo-Addo is doing great, don’t be ungrateful – Diana Asamoah tells Ghanaians

Gospel musician and Evangelist, Diana Asamoah, has commended the Akufo-Addo-led government for its performance after six years in power.

During one of her live radio worship sessions, Evangelist Diana Asamoah dedicated a song to President Akufo-Addo, wishing him well and congratulating him for his good work.

Despite the ongoing brouhaha with the government’s decision to invest public funds into the National Cathedral and surging prices of goods, the singer maintains the government is performing well and urged Ghanaians to show appreciation.

“I dedicate this song to my only dad and my precious dad, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. The battle is still the Lord’s. He is doing well. He is doing well. He is doing great. So don’t be ungrateful,” she said.

Some social media users have reacted to her video, saying the singer’s open affiliation with the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) blinds her from seeing the reality on the ground.

The gospel musician has been instrumental in campaigning for the NPP in 2012, 2016, and the 2020 general elections.
