The Black Stars of Ghana have arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja ahead of the 2022 World Cup Qualifier against Nigeria.
The team arrived in Nigeria via an Africa World Airline chartered flight after departing directly from Kumasi in the early hours of Monday.
The match expected to be played on Tuesday is the return leg encounter after the first leg played in Ghana ended in a stalemate.
The Black Stars of Ghana will have to avoid a defeat to book one of Africa’s five places at this year’s FIFA World Cup to be hosted in Qatar.
The Stars are hoping to qualify for their fourth World Cup appearance after three consecutive features since their first in 2006.
The Stars are expected to train at 5 pm at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, 24 hours before the game.
The game against Nigeria will kick off at 5 pm on Tuesday, 29 March 29 2022.
