The Ghana Football Association Executive Council will meet today to review the work of the technical and management committees after they submitted their reports on Tuesday,
In the meeting held between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ghana FA officials on Friday, there was a directive from government for the current Black Stars management committee and technical team to be dissolved.
“During the frank and forward-looking discussions, the Ministry emphasized strongly the disappointment of the Ghanaian people and their Government in the national team’s poor showing, ending in our group stage elimination at the 2021 AFCON
“The Ministry, therefore, asked the GFA to review the work and capacity of the Black Stars, technical team, led by head coach Milovan Rajevac”.
The Ghana FA Executive Committee after reviewing the reports submitted will dissolve both the technical and management committees.
At the Executive Council meeting to be held today, an official announcement is expected to come out to inform the public of the reconstitution of the Black Stars management team and the technical team.
