Accra to host next FIFA Congress

Ghana’s capital, Accra to host the next FIFA Extraordinary Congress in a meeting which will be held at the Golden Tulip Hotel.

The Congress will be staged in a mini event which will be honoured by members from 13 different associations to deliberate mainly on the welfare and way forward of professional footballers on the continent.

The meeting will be chaired by FIFPRO Africa President and former Cameroonian international Geremie Njitap, his deputy- Nguema Edou Axel Gydex will also be present so as their Communications Director Stephanie Saint Raymond and Alves Loic from France.

The Congress will entails a lot as they get to discuss about the running of the day to day activities of FIFPRO Africa and will also address all the problems they are encountering in recent times.

Also, the Association will talk about the crisis they are going through in this period of Covid-19 and how to identify an antidote to it.

With Ghana been the host, the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) General Secretary Anthony Baffoe together with his deputy Solomon Torson will all be available for the meeting.

Head of Player Relations of PFAG, Yussif Chibsah will also be present during the congress.
