Evans Opoku Bobie appointed Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports designate

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed MP for Asunafo North, Evans Opoku Bobie, to serve as Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports.

He served in Nana Addo’s first administration as the Brong-Ahafo Regional Minister and later the Ahafo Regional Minister when the region was split into three.

If he is approved by parliament, Bobie will join substantive minister Mustapha Ussif at the ministry responsible for developing and promoting youth and sporting activities in the country.

The date for his vetting is yet to be announced.
