Social media reacts to Supreme Court ruling
Following the almost two-hour judgment by the Supreme Court on the 2020 election petition, some Ghanaians have taken to social media to express their opinions.
The suit by the NDC Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, sought to challenge the declaration of the NPP presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo as the winner of the polls.
But the seven-member panel presided over by Chief Justice Anin-Yeboah, in a unanimous decision dismissed the suit saying it failed to meet the legal threshold.
The verdict, has, however, generated varied reactions on social media. Below are some of them sampled by theghanareport.com.
The judgment was very nuanced, scholarly and erudite. It’s finished. Let’s go back to our normal lives, we have a country to build together

The Supreme court is making so many references and backing it with the judgment. They know our country rides on propaganda so they need to make things right.
