#GPLwk11: Bechem United defeat Eleven Wonders 3-1 to go top

Bechem United staged a wonderful comeback to secure a 3-1 win over Techiman Eleven Wonders in Match Week 11 of the ongoing Ghana premier league.

The Hunters played host to Eleven Wonders at the Nana Gyeabour Park in Bechem on Friday afternoon.

Samuel Boakye’s first goal of the season in the 17th minute put Eleven Wonders into a first-half lead.

With 15 minutes to go, the hosts found the equaliser through a penalty converted by Emmanuel Owusu Boakye and they went 2-1 up in the 83rd with a goal from Hafiz Wontah Konkoni. Listowel Amankona sealed the deal for the home side in the 90th minute.

The win takes them to the first spot in the table with 19 points, one above Karela United who play on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Eleven Wonders after losing find themselves in 12th place with 13 points.

Karela United will have the opportunity to reclaim their spot at the top when they face Medeama on Sunday.
