Black Stars’ Kamaldeen Sulemana named in UEFA’s ’50 for the future’ list
Ghanaian teenage sensation, Kamaldeen Sulemana, has been shortlisted among the 50 young footballers to look out for in 2021.
The FC Nordsjaelland young forward was included in UEFA’s ’50 for the future’ list announced on Saturday.
The 50-man list released by the respected football governing body was compiled by UEFA.com’s team of reporters, correspondents, and editors across the continent to pick out some of Europe’s rising stars.
The 18-year-old Black Stars attacker has made the list alongside Barcelona’s Pedri; Dortmund duo Jude Bellingham and Youssoufa Moukoko, and Wesley Fofana of Leicester City.
Other notable mentions in the list include Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich), Nuno Mendes (Sporting Club), Daniel Maldini (AC Milan), and Marash Kumbulla (AS Roma).
Also, two players of Ghanaian descent Jeremy Doku and Yunus Musah were also included in UEFA’s 50 for the future list.
Speaking to his inclusion on the list, UEFA wrote this about the Ghana international:
“Nordsjælland’s young Ghanaian has taken the Superliga by storm. The left-winger is a great dribbler who has an eye for goal and an assist; already capped at senior level.”
He has made 12 appearances for Nordsjaelland this season; scored four goals while creating three assists for teammates.
The former Right to Dream Academy player has featured in two games for the Black Stars in the October international friendlies against Mali and Qatar.
