Man in his 60’s dies ‘after sex’ in Koforidua hotel
A man believed to be a chief has been found dead in a guest house in Koforidua in the Eastern region last Saturday.
The man, William Agyei, believed to be in his sixties received a female visitor in the evening of that Saturday.
But she left before day-break according to the owner of Adom Guest House, Charles Baafi.
He said the receptionist, Eunice Amoah, saw the lifeless body of Agyei on the bed the following morning when she had gone to clean the room.
Police found a viagra container with a capsule, a Deep Heat spray, Unirob Polar Ice, and bendroflumethiazide tablets used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).
The police added that a red bag containing the personal clothes of the deceased including some regalia and a black handbag containing a cash sum of Gh¢2,000 were also found.
“After an external inspection on his body conducted, no marks of violence were seen except foaming on the mouth” Daily Guide reported.
According to the owner of the guest house, the deceased on December 19, 2020, visited the facility in a red Toyota Corolla with registration number, ER 1614-17.
The deceased body has since been deposited at the St. Joseph’s hospital morgue.
The police have also towed the vehicle of the deceased to the station, whilst the police trace the identity of the said young lady and the deceased family to assist in investigations.
The red bag containing the deceased’s belongings is also in police custody.
