Koku Anyidoho loses eight-year-old daughter

Founder of the Atta Mills Institute, Samuel Koku Anyidoho, has reportedly lost his daughter.

According to the former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs, the eight-year-old girl died in a ghastly accident.

The girl whose name has only been given as Sitsofe was travelling with her mother when the accident occurred.

Mr Anyidoho, who is a former Director of Communications at the presidency during the erstwhile Mills administration, took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter to write a few words to console himself.

“No matter what happens: I give thanks to God Almighty for His Grace and mercies! It is well with my soul. Sitsofe, Rest in perfect peace,” he wrote.

Anyidoho is the second NDC bigwig to lose a child this year.

In June, the daughter of the former Chief Executive Officer of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, Alex Kofi Mensah Mould passed on in Mauritius.

Naa Densua Mould was reported to have travelled to the Indian Ocean island country on December 23, 2019, for the Christmas holidays, but was diagnosed of Malaria that very day and subsequently died on January 1, 2020.

Mr Mould’s aide, Onasis Kobby confirmed that the 28-year-old was quarantined after the discovery of her ailment but the health agency in the country had little success in treating it.

This forced the former CEO to travel to the island to get his daughter transferred to London, but his efforts were not successful since Naa Densua had been quarantined.
