Nigeria’s Hilda Baci has been trending since she announced her decision to try and break the Guinness World Record for the longest individual cooking marathon.
Hilda commenced her journey to the Guinness World Records on Thursday at 4 pm Nigerian time.
The event has caught the attention of many, and her determination is capturing the hearts of people worldwide.
Indian chef Lata Tondon currently holds that title. Tondon achieved this Guinness World feat in 2019 with 87 hours and 45 minutes of uninterrupted cooking.
With determination and grit, Hilda hit over 100 hours of cooking to surpass what was recorded by Tondon, even though the Guinness World Records is yet to confirm the new achievement as the current world record.

1. Her real name is Hilda Bassey Effiong
She is a young Nigerian chef from Nsit Ubium LGA in Akwa Ibom State, and she is 27 years of age.
2. Hilda is a graduate of the Madonna University
Hilda holds a degree in sociology from Madonna University in Nigeria.
3. She owns a food brand in Lagos called My Food by Hilda.
Having discovered her skills in culinary, she ventured into the food business in Nigeria.
4. Hilda’s mum is also a chef
