Ghanaian songstress and entrepreneur, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel has shared her perspective on the biblical “number of the beast,” explaining that she believes it already exists rather than being a future event.
Speaking in a candid interview with renowned blogger, Zion Felix, Mzbel argued that the famous 666, widely referenced in the Bible as the “number of the beast,” is embodied in the internet and modern technology that people rely on daily.
According to her, anyone who uses a smartphone or accesses the internet has, in one way or another, already embraced what she describes as the feared biblical symbol.
“People are waiting for the beast to appear, but it’s already here. 666 is already here and it’s the internet we all use. If you don’t use a smartphone and the internet, then you haven’t taken it, but if you use a smartphone and the internet, then you have already embraced it,” Mzbel stated.
She explained that life itself is deeply spiritual and interconnected, including technology such as mobile phones, television, and even modern financial transactions.
In her view, these tools are not neutral but carry spiritual significance that influences how humans live and interact.
The music diva further noted that it is nearly impossible for people to live without these technologies, making everyone an automatic participant in systems often associated with fear and prophecy.
When asked directly whether she herself had taken the 666, the singer responded humorously, saying she had, describing herself as an “ambassador” because she cannot live even a minute without internet access—a reality she believes applies to most people today.
The ’16years’ hitmaker made these comment while discussing the spiritual dimensions of digital music platforms such as iTunes, Spotify, and other streaming services. According to Mzbel, these platforms go beyond business and are spiritually connected to musicians and content creators.
“And all those music platforms, they are all spiritual platforms. They call it technology or science because they want it to sound nice in your ear, but it is spiritual and it’s not free. If you are a musician and put your songs there, it’s a spiritual trade. They take your energy,” she said.
She stressed that everything surrounding modern music distribution is spiritually linked, whether people acknowledge it or not.
Mzbel’s comments also reconnect with her long-held position on religion. Several years ago, the musician publicly denounced Christianity and has since maintained that stance.
She reiterated that her decision was influenced by what she describes as the failure of many Christians to practice what they preach.
According to her, she finds peace and alignment in African spirituality, which she says resonates more with her values and personal beliefs.
She emphasized that she has no intention of returning to Christianity, a religion founded on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
You are right Mzbel but Christ will save us from this 666 Spiritual technologies, Jesus is real and ever ready for the task ahead for His followers,777 will surely lock 666 soon,
