A heavy downpour on Wednesday afternoon resulted in flooding across the capital, Accra.
The rains, accompanied by strong winds, brought down the roofs of buildings and trees and damaged vehicles, among other things.
In addition, some areas experienced flooding, resulting in severe gridlock as roads became impassable in the affected areas.
Some of the areas affected include Shiashie, Teshie, Kwame Nkrumah Interchange, Spintex, Kaneshie, Adabraka, Osu and some parts of Dzorwulu.
While many commuters parked their cars for the rain to subside, others carefully drove through the flood which covered most parts of the road.
