52 Weeks Susu Enterprise donates to Teshie Children’s Home
In a heartwarming act of corporate social responsibility, 52 Week Susu Enterprise, a non-bank financial institution, has extended its support to the less privileged at the Teshie Children’s Home.
The firm donated a variety of essential items, including food supplies, toiletries, clothing, and educational materials, to provide the children with resources to support their basic needs and education.
52 Week Susu Enterprise embarked on the exercise on November 22, 2024.
CEO of 52 Week Susu Enterprise, Mrs Gertrude Agyabu, said the gesture represents “our sincere commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of the children”.
“We believe in giving back to the community that has supported us over the years. Our donation exercise is inspired by our core values of compassion and social responsibility. It is our way of sharing love, hope, and care, especially with those who need it most, as we recognize the blessings we’ve received as a company,” she added.
It forms part of many initiatives by 52 Week Susu Enterprise, with plans to engage in similar exercises each year to extend their impact and deepen their connection with society.
As part of its programmes to boost financial literacy and encourage a savings culture to enhance financial freedom, the firm operates a 52-week savings challenge.
The challenge was adjudged the Most Innovative Product of the Year at the 2024 Ghana Microfinance Institutions Network (GHAMFIN) awards.
52 Week Susu Enterprise remains committed to social causes, focusing on education, health, and community development.
This initiative underscores the company’s mission to drive positive change beyond its business operations, inspiring others to step forward and support vulnerable groups in society.
The management of the Teshie Children’s Home expressed gratitude to the CEO and staff of 52 Week Susu Enterprise for the kind gesture.
