Going on a first date can make you nervous, to the point where your brain goes completely blank.

1. What’s your view on religion and how much of a role does it play in your life?
This question will help you discover their values and core beliefs. Do they go from pastor to pastor on a daily basis? Do they put their pastor’s word above all else, even if it is to their detriment? This question will give you some insight.
2. What do you think about feminism?
If you’re a feminist, it’s best to date someone who shares the same ideology as you. If your date is the polar opposite then that might be a red flag swinging in your face.

This offers you an idea of their childhood, their relationship with their parents, and whether or not they have any toxic traits lurking around.
