Four people were severely injured after a commercial bus crashed into traders at the Dr. Mensah Station in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
According to reports, the bus, which suffered a brake failure, veered off the road and ran into the traders selling by the roadside on Tuesday, March 18.
Bystanders rushed to pull the victims from the wreckage before emergency services arrived at the location.
The injured were transported to the Manhyia Government Hospital for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, their conditions remain critical as medical personnel work to stabilise them.

A similar accident at the same location in 2023 killed a 51-year-old cabbage seller identified as Akua Serwaa.
She died after a trailer truck ran into pedestrians and traders at the Dr. Mensah Market.
The truck with registration number GT 7452-11, reported to be carrying secondhand clothes, lost its control and ran into the victims.
The truck, which reportedly failed to brake, also crashed into a taxicab that was parked before running over the woman who was selling by the roadside.
The body of the deceased was mutilated by the truck after the gory accident.
