337 new infections push Ghana’s COVID-19 case count to 8,885
THREE hundred and thirty-seven new infections have pushed Ghana’s COVID-19 cases to 8,885 with the number of recoveries increasing to 3,189.
This means 57 more people are free from the virus. The previous recovery figure was 3,132.
The deaths recorded still stand at 38 while the number of active cases is 5, 658.
This is according to the latest update from the Ghana Health Service on June 4, 2020.
Greater Accra, Ashanti and Western regions are the regions with the highest cases in the country.
Greater Accra has 6, 102 confirmed cases; Ashanti has 1,452 cases and Western region has 456 cases.
In all, 15 regions in Ghana have all confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Ahafo region remains the only region yet to record an infection.
