2026 World Cup Qualifiers : Black Stars coach Chris Hughton to address press today
Head Coach of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton is expected to address the media later today before the team’s last training session ahead of their FIFA World Cup qualifier against Madagascar.
The presser will take place at the media center of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium at 5 pm. Before him will be Madagascar coach Nicholas Dupuis at 4:30 pm.
News from the Stars camp indicates Hughton has his full squad as Lawrence Ati-Zigi trained with the squad on Wednesday after arriving in camp in the morning.
The Switzerland-based shot-stopper was the only absentee when the team assembled in Accra ahead of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros.
His arrival takes the number of players to Twenty-five as Ghana prepares for the doubleheader.
The Black Stars continued their preparations at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Wednesday with all twenty-five players taking part in the training session.
Training sessions will be held by both teams today with Madagascar scheduled for 4 pm, while Ghana trains at 5:30 pm.
The match will be played on Friday, November 17 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
