Ghana head coach Chris Hughton has named his starting eleven for today’s crucial encounter against Comoros.

The Black Stars are coming up against their Group I opponent in the second fixture of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Ahead of kick-off at 4 pm, Hughton has selected experienced goalkeeper Richard Ofori to be in post for the Black Stars.

The South African-based goalkeeper will work closely with a defensive setup that includes Gideon Mensah, Denis Odoi, Kasim Nuhu and Nicholas Opoku.

Abdul Salis Samed has been handed a starting role in midfield, where he will be directing the play of the Black Stars alongside Mohammed Baba Iddrisu.

Meanwhile, captain Andre Ayew makes a return to the starting lineup to replace injured Mohammed Kudus.

Inaki Williams will lead the attack for the Stars, with support from Semenyo and Jordan Ayew.

A win for Ghana will see them go top of the Group I standings of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
