2025 AFCONQ: If we win this game, there is more to come- Otto Addo on Sudan Clash

Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, believes there are more positives to expect from his team should Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team beat Sudan on Tuesday, October 15 at 13:00 GMT in Benghazi, Libya.

Speaking in a pre-game interview, Otto Addo stated that the Black Stars chances of qualifying to the 2025 AFCON improved with Angola beating Niger to keep the latter’s point tally at one and rank behind Ghana heading into the second phase of the qualifiers.

Ahead of the crucial game after Ghana played out a goalless draw with Sudan in Accra, preparations for the Black Stars took a spiritual turn with pieces of garlic spotted on the Martyrs of February Stadium after Ghana’s training session.

Otto Addo believes that with the team’s blend of good structure and good players, a win over Sudan will get his team to deliver better results stating,

“We have a good team structure, we have good players individually and now it’s about putting things together. Now it’s about giving extra to win this game and to reward one’s self for the hard work…with this, also the belief will come and I’m very sure that if we win this game, there is more to come.”
