Coach Otto Addo is expected to unveil the Black Stars’ 26-man squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying matches later this week.

Ghana will kick off their Group F campaign against Angola on September 5 at the Baba Yara Stadium, followed by an away game against Niger on September 9.

The team will assemble in Accra before heading to Kumasi for the opener.

According to reports, Otto Addo has already submitted his squad selection to the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council.

To secure qualification for the tournament to be hosted by Morocco, Otto Addo is expected to name a formidable squad.

The Black Stars are looking to build on their recent successes, having defeated Mali and Central African Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Ghana, a four-time African champion, seeks to secure one of the top two positions in Group F and qualify for the AFCON tournament, scheduled for December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
