2025 AFCON Qualifiers: Black Stars touch down in Luanda ahead of Angola clash
The Black Stars touched down in Luanda on Wednesday night ahead of their penultimate 2025 AFCON qualifier against Angola on Friday at 7 p.m.
The team will hold their final training session on Thursday at the 11th November Stadium to familiarize themselves with the pitch ahead of the crucial encounter.
Before traveling to Angola, the Black Stars visited the Dzorwulu Special School, where they donated food items, water, and an undisclosed amount of money to the school.
However, they still remain third in Group F of the AFCON qualifiers with two points, and their potential failure to qualify could be confirmed on Thursday before they face Angola on Friday.
This is because second-placed Sudan, who need just a point to qualify, will play as guests to Niger at 4 p.m. Thursday in Togo in their penultimate qualifier.
Angola is top of the group with 12 points and has already qualified, while Sudan is second with seven points.
Niger sits at the bottom of the group with one point from a 1-1 draw against Ghana, who is third with two points.
